Well, as I've mentioned. I got a graphic tablet for Christmas, and I've heard that they have quite the learning curve. I felt I needed some practice. I took the scan of the picture I made for the birthday of Babs of ComicVine.com. I know she is a fan of Cassandra Cain. Last year, I made her that X-Men 4koma with Namor and Cyclops.
This was the first time I have ever used a graphic tablet in my life. So, try not to be too critical. Still, I'm rather pleased with the coloring work.
I tried to think of some very 'Gotham City' architecture on the building. Something about the elaborate designed building adds depth to the picture.
DC really hasn't shown Cassie any real love this year. First, they replace her as Batgirl with Stephanie Brown. I would of thought she was popular in the role. If they replaced her that they must have some plans. That seems to of been false. When they were doing the "Bruce Wayne Road Home" comics, everyone had a special meeting with the returned Bruce Wayne but Cassandra. To date, there has been no explanation as to why.
She is essentially his adopted daughter. She quit being Batgirl because Bruce was dead, and she couldn't accept Dick Grayson as Batman (her and me both). Now, Bruce is back. That is character drama waiting to happen that when absolutely nowhere. One of the things that irritates me about major publishers.
I hope everyone likes the color work.
