This is my version of the events at the end of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. You'll notice that they have black ties rather then the school colored ties. I thought for the funeral at the end of the book they should wear black ties. In Harry's hand you can see him clutching the fake horcrux.
Ron and Hermione are in the back. I was pleased with Hermione's bushy hair.
I originally wanted to do these cool layered clouds, but in the book was described as a perfect day.

The image was traditionally drawn, but everything here was created on computer using my drawing as a guide. It was really weird drawing Harry more grown up. I noticed the scene looked so stagnant, but I added the leaves to blow in the wind.

I'm normally a fan of much more realistic drawings, but this works surprisingly well. Definitely worth a fav. :+fav:

I don't like drawing things realistically. I say that if you want something to look real. Take a photograph.

True, but you can't really take a picture of a fictional event.

You can set up events. They make Harry Potter movies and take pictures.

wow this is such a good pic.

i was really happy it was a perfect day in the book. rain is so cliche for funerals... :no: honestly, can't good things happen when it's raining? *sigh* But you did really good with making it look sad and forlorn without the use of overcast days. :highfive:

y'know . . . i bet they'll make it rain in the movie. they always ruin everything in the movies. *sigh* poor poor Lupin.
