This is Jak from the uber popular video game series Jak and Daxter. This design is from the 4th game Jak X Combat Racing.
I really liked Jak's look in this game. I had fun with Daxter. I drew him with the goggles down and ready to go. Notice the keychain charm. That's the symbol of Jak's family.
I got to say that this game isn't my favorite in the series, but BOY is it addictive. My biggest beef is with that bloody Peacemaker shot. I get hit with that ALL THE TIME!! Once I was hit with it 5 times in a row. I hate it because it really feels like I'm being punished for playing well.
This like pretty much all my work was hand drawn, but colored via Paintshop Pro Vr.7. The background is a screenshot of the game.

Haven't played much of Jak games, and that was back in 2002 or so, but the characters always kind of stuck with me. Might have been the design.
