Valentine A x Y bw by FoxxFireArt Valentine A x Y bw by FoxxFireArt
I normally don't show off my black and white stuff, but I thought I would share this picture.
I sketched this today and I'm coloring it. I hope to have the coloring work done soon.

Don't ask where the Inari mask is on Adler. You might notice that this is a picture of Adler and Yuriko has they were when they were teenagers.

This follows the Japanese celebration of Valentine's Day. It's a rather different over there. On the holiday girls will often give boys chocolates. A month later the boys are suppose to return the gesture on "White Day".
It's not always boys they have a romantic interest in. There are other types that are for coworkers and friends.
True Love Chocolates are called "Honmei-choko".
For friends/coworkers are called "Giri-choko".

As you can see both are rather nervous about something. At times these gives can be seen as expression of love. A rather large step at times. I wonder what type she's planning on giving Adler??

I do have a funny comic planned that shows how Yuriko got her name. Little tease is that it was Ashien who thought up that one.

Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment on your thoughts, and I hope to have the colored version out soon.

Thanks.

Yeah, funny how it's pretty much the opposite in the US. Here the men are pretty much obligated to do something,

Well, Adler's mask can be somewhere under his clothes. :3

Nope. At this time he didn't have the mask. He doesn't get that until much later. This picture is more about Adler and Yuriko's relationship.

I don't know if you have ever read the manga Detective Conan. I imagine their relationship being a lot like the characters Shinichi and Ran.

Best way is practice. It's really in the shape of the face and the movement of the brows.

Well, classically Japanese are more reserved about their love for a boy. naturally that doesn't apply to all. Valentine's Day is a nice way to go about it.

Thanks. I was going for a certain level of nervousness. Sort of an adorably nervous look.
