Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. You all may remember that a couple weeks back that I put out the word that I was up for hire for commissions. I received a LOT to responses. Far more that I expected. Most were just inquiries about prices. I was really excited to get to work, but you may have noticed that I wasn't getting back to you. This was partly because of the amount of messages, but the main reason is that a few days later I got really sick. It came really out of nowhere. I have not been that sick in a long time. Just to give you an idea of how out of it I was. I didn't realize I was putting on a sweatshirt on backward until I found my head in the hood.

I want you to know that I got your messages and I will be getting back to you very shortly. I've mostly recovered. I'm still coughing a bit, but I think that's just my sinuses clearing out. I was working on one person's commission when I got sick, and sadly I missed his birthday deadline he was requesting. I really felt bad about that.

I'm very sorry for your inconvenience.

Just to clear some things up. I am open for more that just full colored pictures. You can also hire me to make black and white inked images and a lower cost than full color. Naturally, those are much faster to finish.
