Live Streams May Have to Wait

I've recently been very interested in starting a live stream of my artwork on Picarto.TV. I've seen a lot of artists that I really enjoy doing work on that site live. It's very educational. Some of you might remember a while back when my old computer kept getting the Blue Screen of Death and crashing. Unsurprisingly, I needed to get a new computer, but finances were tight at the time. I had to get something pretty simple. This thing still runs Windows Vista. (I really should just do that 10 upgrade.)

Today, I tried downloading OBS to start streaming. However, part way through the install it said I was missing DirectX components. This is currently only my assumption, but it appears my graphics card is too out of date. I had actually been meaning to upgrade my video card, for finally playing games on my PC; but put that on the back burner. Seems as if I will have to get that upgrade. If I'm going to upgrade, I might as well go for something good. On Steam, I saw the video card they recommended for playing Borderlands 2 (two birds, as they say). I think that was on Amazon for around $97. That's not counting if I'll need more memory or power source, as well. It's been a while since I opened my tower up. I do remember my brother saying this thing has a really great fan.

Here's the irony of this situation. I wanted to start doing a live stream to really promote my Patreon page and get more supporters, but I'd need more patrons on my Patreon to afford the upgrades quicker. I currently have three, one of which appears to be anonymous. I'm really putting a lot of work into these new pictures to show my appreciation for my patrons that are helping to support me. Just look to my latest image of Ashien as evidence of that.
