Description
This is a test I used to try and create a new 4koma using the downloaded demo if Corel Painter 11.
I have to say that so far I'm not too impressed. It comes across as a bit too much like an art software. While that's great if you intend to mimic a painting or such. It is very cumbersome when just trying to do simple graphic work. Just trying to make those angles in the "X-Men" logo was a headache.
My previous Paintshop Pro vr. 7 would of made this a lot easier.
This Corel seems pretty great for making textures. I used the sponge tool to make that cool texture in the soil on the ground. This software just doesn't seem to work for what I'm going to need it for.
Once this demo is done I plan to try out Photoshop. It's just a $100 dollar difference. This doesn't look bad, but it seems to take twice as logn as it should have.
